The drug peddling Yaba has been known to come from Myanmar on the way to the thieves, but now it is found in a factory in Chittagong.

In this illegal factory, a chawk powder made of Yaba in a house of Bepari para of Double Mooring Police station, birth control pills and paracetamol tablets were also used with Taluko Powder.

Police claimed that around 250,000 yaba pills were seized, as well as lots of raw materials were seized, in which around one lakh adulterated Yaba pills could be prepared.

Four people have been arrested from that house. They told the police, they were selling adulterated Yaba for three years.

He said that 2.5 lakh prepared yaba, construction equipment and 105 kg of raw materials were seized from the house. They could prepare 10 lakh yaba pills.

Additional deputy commissioner (west) AAM Humayun Kabir told the bdnews24.com that the arrestees were collecting various material from the market and making Yaba through the machine.

Every Yaba has been told to sell the drug vendors at Tk.15 and Tk 15, which will leave the taker at Tk 50 for reaching the buyer.

Humayun handed over the arrests and said that Shyamol was managing the factory. At the house, Ayesha used to take her two children. Shyamol, Mamun used to make yaba, Aman supplied them to different drug dealers in Chittagong, Dhaka.

In 2011, Shyamal was once arrested by the detective police, police said.

Shyamol told the police that they used Chalk Powder, Tollcomo powder, Birth Pills and Paracetamol Caffeine, Glucose, Wax, Stearic Acid to make Yaba.

They collected birth control pills and paracetamols from Dhaka, and told to buy other raw materials from the local market.

Shyamol said, when they did this work in another building of Bepari para, seven months ago they rented a new house at Tk 13,000.

Shyamol told the journalists that he learned to make Yaba from a person named Rakhal Chandra. In 2011, the shepherd and he was arrested with the equipment of Yaba in Chawkbazar area. In 2013, the shepherd died while in jail.

Shyamol said, in the year 2014, after selling a sweater factory without bail, he started working on making yaba again due to losses.
