Bangladesh has named the list of computer-producing countries
Walton's first computer factory in Bangladesh opened in the list of computer-producing countries.
On 18 January, the inauguration of the country's first computer factory in Chandra, Gazipur at 12:30 pm, was inaugurated by Postal, Telecommunication and Information Technology Minister Mustafa Jabbar. State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaed Ahmed Polk and senior government officials were present at the time.
Walton sources said that trial production in Walton's computer factory is already underway. The factory has been built in the vast areas of Walton DG-TECH Industries at Chandra in Gazipur. There are laptops and computer design developments, research and development departments, quality control and testing labs. The world's latest Japanese and German technology machineries were established.
In the meantime, the high quality PCB or motherboard has been started by installing a very subtle fine pins on the PCB (printed circuit board) through the SMT (Surface Mounting Technology) system. Enhanced stock of required raw materials has been raised. Besides, one thousand people will be employed in Walton Computer Factory.
Initially, this factory has 60,000 unit laptops, 30 thousand units of desktop and 30 thousand unit monitors for production targets in the month. Along with the other accessories of the computer, Walton will be able to produce pen drive, keyboard and mouse.
Intel's last-generation processor laptop will be built in Walton's factory. Walton Desktop and Monitor will be produced in a variety of affordable models.
