Turkey launches attacks due to US: Russia

Russia has said that the United States is responsible for the recent military tensions in Syria, and uncontrolled Pentagon arms to US-backed guerrillas, Turkey has been encouraged to attack the Afrin area in Syria.

The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement. The Turkish Ministry of Defense issued this statement after the Turkish air and land attack began in Kurdistan-based Afrin area. Turkey launched the offensive to oust US-backed Kurdish People's Protection Unit or YPG guerrillas from Afrin area. The YPG guerrillas believe Turkey is a terrorist and for a long time the Turkish government has been saying - YepGi is virtually the Syria branch of Turkey's separatist Kurdish guerilla organization PKK.

The Russian Ministry also said that in order to destroy the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Syria and to support armed armed forces, Turkey has started to show extreme negative reaction in the country due to the formation of border security forces along with Kurds and some provocative actions.
