Letter to speaker than presidential voter list

Election Commission (EC) has written a letter to the Speaker of the Parliament to elect the President for the voter list. The letter was sent to the EC Secretariat along with the speaker on Tuesday. Election Commissioner Mahbub Talukder confirmed the matter and said that the election commission is ready for the presidential election. The election date will be announced after the discussion on the matter in the meeting on January 25.

He also said that the speaker has been given a letter from the Speaker's list ie voter list.

It is learned that counting of votes for the 21st presidential election from tomorrow will start tomorrow. Election commission meeting has been called on Thursday to decide the election ahead of the presidential election. Law Minister Anisul Haque said in the preparations of the EC on Monday night that the EC will know about the presidential election on February 19.

Since independence, 16 have been elected to the 19th term. As Abdul Hamid, seventeen people are in this position.

The concerned people said that the current President Abdul Hamid, who took office on April 24, 2013, will end on April 23 this year. According to Article 123 (1) of the Constitution, the election will be held to fill the vacant posts within sixty days from the 90 days before the date of expiry of the term due to termination of the term of President.
