Delay in the return of Rohingya, Lata Chapal Nayapido on Dhaka

According to the preliminary schedule, the return of Rohingyas from Myanmar to Bangladesh has not started. Myanmar government official said after Bangladesh informed about the delay of the return to Rohingya, the government official said that despite the announcement of Bangladesh's delay, the Rohingya refugees are ready to return to consistently. At the same time, he imposed his responsibility on delaying Bangladesh.

According to the agreement signed between the two countries, the process of returning to Rohingyas in Myanmar would start from Tuesday. But officials of Bangladesh said on Monday that several issues are now pending. Bangladesh is concerned that Rohingyas may be forced to return again even after the return.

Myanmar Union Minister Thong Tun told reporters on Tuesday that people who are crossing the border are ready to accept their country. On August 25, the army started the clearance operation after attacking minority Rohingya rebels in the checkpoint of the security forces in Rakhine. Over 680,000 Rohingyas fled to Bangladesh in the brutal operation.

During the bloody campaign, Buddhist-majority Myanmar security forces have been accused of persecution, rape and burning of their homes on Rohingya. The United Nations has identified Myanmar's military campaign as a national killer.

Thong Tun said, Myanmar has already completed preparations for returning 300 people a day. Also, the number will be increased based on the progress of the first step.

The country's social welfare minister Win Miyat Aay said that Naypyidaw has given the list of 700 Rohingya and 400 Hindu refugees who can return to Myanmar after verification. Only those who can return to Myanmar; Those who can show their identity documents. But most Rohingya do not have this document.

The Rohingyas referred to as a non-Muslim Muslim ethnic group. The organization says the Rohingya is a group of the longest oppressed minorities in the world. Burmans of Myanmar hate the minority Sunni group because of the similarity of the Rohingya language with the local language of Bangladesh.

Burmans of Myanmar consider these Rohingya illegal immigrants. Even after having lived in Myanmar for a few generations, locals call them as Bengali. Most Rohingyas live in the country's poverty-stricken Rakhine state, but they do not have citizenship of the country.

There is also restriction on the movement and work of Rohingyas. UN refugee agency UNHCR says Rohingya fleeing from Rakhine province after communal violence in 2012; It still continues.

Alam, a Rohingya refugee resident of Baluchi Rohingya camp in Cox's Bazar, said, "How can we go back to Myanmar without ensuring security?" If our burned houses are returned, then we will return.

There are about ten lakh Rohingya residences in the refuge camp of Bangladesh. Local officials, international charities and Rohingyas also say the process of repatriation is still very much left. But Myanmar authorities say they are ready to begin the repatriation process.

Win Miyat Ayay said, "We have no problem, ready to start my repatriation process in Myanmar." But Bangladesh is in trouble, due to which the return work for refugees is delayed.
