Anti-militancy and drug-sharing views held in Rajshahi City On Tuesday (January 16th) this meeting was held in Guphipara area under the initiative of Rajpara thana community policing. Presided over by Rajpara thana Community Policing President and Metropolitan Awami League Organizing Secretary Azizul Alam Bentu, Rajshahi metropolitan police commissioner Mahbubur Rahman said the meeting was held as the chief guest.

Chief guest Mahbubar Rahman PMP said in his speech, RMP Police are in a tough position to curb militancy and eliminate the drug. The drug business destroys a society. He sought cooperation of all to stop militancy and to eliminate drug trade.

Calling upon the police to inform all the information related to alcohol, he said that if any police is cooperative or involved in drug trade or drug possession in the society, then I will give that information to me. That police job is not suspended; The police will be fired, the police will be jailed.

The police commissioner further said that drug, militancy and illegal weapons in the society are involved in this formula. And this activity is keeping our society behind. In the interest of the society, this drug must be eliminated in our interest.

On the occasion, nine drug dealers in Rajpara thana were left out of the drug business and returned their normal life after the RMT made their sworn statements. Of these, 6 men and 3 women. Apart from this, 4 people have been given a sewing machine and 1 van for the work of abandonment of drug trade. The meeting said that the rest of the workers would be provided employment in phases.
