One minute light Bangladesh-এক মিনিট আলোহীন বাংলাদেশ
One minute light Bangladesh
On the day of genocide, the memory of the first day of the night commemorating the moonlight was a one-minute symbol (black out).
From 9pm to 9am on Monday, the whole country is illuminated. The dark green lamps are lit in the public buildings at the time of darkness. Road movement is closed.
This was done in memory of the massacre of Pakistani occupation forces on this day of 1971. After the recognition of the Jatiya Sangsad, the government declared the day of the brutal massacre of Pakistani occupation forces on March 25, 1971 as 'genocide day'.
On March 25, 1971, to foil the liberation movement of the Bengalis, the Pak army jumped on the unarmed innocent people of this country. The operation called 'Operation Searchlight' was carried out in Dhaka on the first day of the Kalarat massacre.
The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) had taken unprincipled security measures to ensure that there was no sabotage on the black-out.
